As a qualified disability support worker and chef with 7 years’ experience working in disability, your loved one will receive excellent care, nutritious meals, and one on one attention in a safe home environment.
My Story
The vision for 34 Derby Short Term Accommodation Respite was born out of founder, James Mugavin's belief on doing "good, better, best" for those with ALL abilities to live the life they choose.
34 Derby STA Respite was created as a bespoke home away from home, giving people with all abilities a chance to try new activities, to be active, recharge and improve their independence in a supported environment with everything you may need.
James has worked in the disability sector for over 7 years as a chef and mentor at a social enterprise catering company. During these 7 years, James has prided himself on inclusion and assisted in providing meaningful life opportunities for adults who are differently abled. These are beliefs that James still holds strongly and is a fundamental part of the philosophy he has carried through to 34 Derby.
